Behind the vocal harmonies, guitar jangle, and upbeat sonic approach, Eric Lowen and Dan Navarro bring real life
themes--love, loss, family, yearning--all in their compelling, maddening glory. Lowen & Navarro have released
eight albums including Live Radio which hit #8 on the Amazon charts and last years At Long Last.....Christmas.
Their ninth recording since "Walking On A Wire" in 1990 is "All The Time In The World" released on Sept. 21, 2004.
Although during their career they have employed such stalwart musicians as members of Train, eels drummer
Butch Norton, members of Sheryl Crows band or Bonnie Raitt's bassist Hutch Hutchinson, their touring for
the most part these days sees them expand a portion of their show that calls for an all acoustic approach.
The Lowen & Navarro fan base has expanded over the years to sell out shows in major venues in Chicago, Boston,
L.A., Minneapolis, Baltimore. Many other cities are added to the list each year. And their first performing
trip to Europe took place in 2002.
At the core of their creative partnership is the fact that Lowen & Navarro are great friends - some might
say "brothers" - as well as business comrades. Both men write lyrics and music, with Lowen playing lead and
slide guitar and Navarro supplying rhythm guitar. Cloaking sharp insights in the warmth of its intimate
sound, Lowen & Navarro's new "All The Time In The World" is the latest chapter in the duo's ongoing
passion for music, humor, and life in general. |
