Pete Kennedy's first solo CD in years will be release this summer and available for sale at www.myspace.com/petekennedyguitar. He'll even be out on the road in support doing a few select solo dates in New England. He'll also be teaming up with Mark Stuart a limited number of dates this fall. These two guitar masters look forward to bringing a different musical experience to their fans and to a great time on stage with each other. Jokingly called the "Boys Night Out" tour catch it when they hit the road in late November and early December
 

We are proud to announce that Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson have both asked us to act as their U.S. agents for solo touring.

Stephen Fearing picks up a Juno Award for his latest CD "Yellowjacket". "Yellowjacket" marks a breakthrough in Stephen's approach to his craft. He has assumed the mantle of producer for the first time since his early albums, and is thrilled at the results. "This was done in the most relaxed way I've ever made a record, and I hear that in my voice and guitar playing. Producing frees you up to be a lot less critical of yourself."

Tom Wilson releases "Dog Years", his second solo CD. On this, his second solo album, the well-traveled troubadour has come up with a gem of a record that surely confirms him as one of Canada's most compelling singer/songwriters.

Canadian super group Blackie and the Rodeo Kings' new CD Lets Frolic is out and on the charts and they've asked us to help them bring their live show to the US. BARK was formed as a one-off homage to Canadian folk music hero Willie P. Bennett in 1996. Their musical chemistry and the reaction to that tribute, BARK's debut, "High Or Hurtin", was so positive, they decided to run with it. Now each member is completely committed to the band, and the result is a band that is even greater than the sum of its parts. Given that the individual parts are pretty damned impressive, that's saying something.

Blackie and the Rodeo Kings' Colin Linden will tour with EmmyLou Harris this summer. EmmyLou is one lucky gal!
 

Austin TX artist Darden Smith joins the family. In the 20 years since the release of his debut album, Darden Smith has grown from just another promising modern country artist into a singer/songwriter blessed with an uncommon degree of intelligence, depth, and compassion. Check out Darden's latest release "Ojo", his first live CD, recorded at the Ojo Caliente venue in New Mexico. And get ready to see him out on the road soon.

The Strangelings' official debut at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival was a huge success! With the addition of Cheryl Prashker on drums and Eric Lee on fiddle, the now seven piece band truly was a smash. They have already been booked back at Falcon Ridge for 2008 and are in negotiations with other major festivals on the East Coast. Hang on, it's going to be quite a ride! Lowen and Navarro have also gone into the studio for their first studio recording of original material in quite a while. I can't wait, having just heard some of the new songs live at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.

The Stringbusters released their first CD "Rhapsody In Uke" in June and it's already been added to radio playlists up and down the East Coast. They have been tapped to play the New York Ukulele Festival in April 2008, where they'll be performing on the mainstage as well as teaching a workshop.

Taxi Chain will released their long awaited 4th CD "Glimmer of Light" for the US market in January 2008. This time the bands leader, Grier Coppins, has found his muse in the funk sounds of the 70's and 80's. From the rollicking "Black Hounds of Hell" to the pensive "How Can I Say Goodbye", "Glimmer of Light" is a musical adventure, with overtones of R&B, traditional Celtic music, strains of folk, country and even world music at times. The ultimate festival band, Taxi Chain will be out on the road this summer to get the party started both in the US and Canada!
